COVID-19 Update June 30 Tourers

Good News!

From 10am on July 13th and in line with Welsh Government Guidelines,  our touring customers are allowed to return as long as they have their own on-board shower, WC and kitchen facilities.   All shared facilities, aside from water and disposal points will remain closed including toilets, shower blocks, laundry & children’s play areas.

COVID 19 Update 22 June 2020

To all our Guests & Customers

There has been some confusion since the Welsh Government have announced the opening of the Tourism Sector.  As of 22 June,  we understand that so long as virus is controlled, the 13th July is date for reopening Welsh self-contained accommodation i.e. static caravans/lodges (with own kitchen and bathroom) on caravan parks. Day visits would not be possible whilst Welsh parks are closed by law so caravan owners would need to await 13 July to return.

We regard to tourers and motorhomes. Welsh Government are now considering these; we will forward their announcement as soon as it is received.

COVID-19 UPDATE 23/03/20

Dear All,

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that we have taken the decision to close both our parks, Bagnol and Tyn Towyn.

We have based this on the Government’s advice below, to close the whole park with immediate effect until further notice.

Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays. People should remain in their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on communities and services that are already at risk.

The Government is advising against non-essential travel and we must all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The health and well-being of our customer, staff and the local community, where our Holiday Parks are situated, is our number one priority.  We will endeavour to keep you updated as the situation progresses and as we continue to monitor the Government guidance. We can assure you that we will open the Parks again as soon as we are able and look forward to that time.

Our family  business has been operating in Trearddur Bay for  36 years and we have never had to close or ask people to leave our Parks before and hope we never have to do again.  However, we would like to ask all of our holiday home owners, seasonal touring customers as well as holiday guests to please act now to stop the spread of this awful virus.

Kind Regards

Haydn, Daniel and Team

Coronavirus COVID-19

As a business, the health and wellbeing of our customers and our team is always our priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it unfolds and are continuing to adapt, following the guidance issued by the government and health authorities to help keep everyone as safe as possible. Our thoughts go out to anyone who has been personally impacted, and we hope that you are safe and well.

In light of The severity of the Coronavirus(COVID-19)and the associated risks to all customers and staff I am strongly emphasizing the advise that the Govt has issued in that you please avoid non essential travel, including visiting your holiday home unnecessarily.

We have an obligation to the H&S of our staff and customers and for this reason at present we will not be able to provide unnecessary , non emergency assistance for any of you should you decide to ignore this advise . Our staff are on call for emergencies only and will not enter any Caravan should they deem their own safety to be compromised. Therefore we ask that you stick to the health advise given regarding washing and sanitizing , refrain from social gatherings and keeping social distancing at other holiday homes or elsewhere on the park, and avoid attending at the office but ring for any assistance you should need .

As you all have access to your own water and showering facilities that you refrain from sharing and using any other available communal areas and stay within your own holiday home for your personal safety and that of others.

We sincerely hope that you are not self isolating at the park and should you be due to personal reasons and because you have been advised to do so that you advise the office as soon as possible. Should the government decide that everyone is to self isolate and impose a ban on the tourism industry remaining open then we will adhere to this and no staff will be on-site to assist in any non emergency situation.

We do take your safety and that of our staff very seriously and we hope that you too have the same priority so that together we can assist in anyway possible to reduce and contain this virus so that our business can resume normally as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your assistance and patience in these extremely challenging times
